Great camping and a beautiful setting. Lots of lovely trees. Clean restrooms. The RV spots even have sewer hookups too
Our family went April of this year (2017) we had 2 other families with us and managed to get all our spaces together.. nice weather during day but freezing during the night bring a good sleeping bag and extra blankets.. it's a nice little get away for the weekend to hang out and cook with family especially if you have children bring their bikes so much for them to explore on their own if they are teens..spaces have lots of room so we could set up a volley ball area and soccer area.. our dogs even enjoyed being out there walking around.. we got our space by bathroom showers are kept well cleaned for .50 cents you can take a 4 min shower plenty of space too..we enjoyed our time here..will come back!
We recently stayed in one of the cabins it was wonderful! Beautiful scenery and quiet. The public restrooms were very well maintained. The main office has a small display of antiques from the area taxidermy animals and a couple of live snakes. A beautiful gem in our cities backyard. Perfect for my young children's first camping trip!
The lake is beautiful. The camp ground was well maintained. Tent camping was relatively cheap. Local store near by in case you forgot anything. Firewood available on site.
If you want to get away from it all this is not your place. If you want to be under a microscope then come on down! I love to camp and fish but not here. For starts they want to charge you for everything and be all in your business. I will be leaving for the Sierra in a few days for some real camping at a fraction of the cost!
